As stated earlier, the lease data base contains the bookkeeping data used for commission payments and for owner and agent 1099 forms. It also contains the current status of the lease. In the above screen, the status list (in the upper right corner) has been expanded to show the possible status states for the lease:

1. Preparation - This is the initial status which indicates that the lease is being prepared.
2. Pending Customer Signature - Indicates that a lease has been printed or E-Mailed to a customer and is waiting for its return.
3. Pending Owner Signature - Indicates that a lease has been sent to the owner and is awaiting his signature.
4. Pending Payments - Indicates that a lease has been signed by the owner and is waiting for the next payment.
5. All Payments Received - Indicates that the customer has completed all payments.
6. Lease Cancelled - Indicates that the lease was cancelled.
7. Remove - Removes the lease from the data base. Note that the lease can be removed only if it has been cancelled first.
